Liquid Fuel Budget Changes Are Asked
Controller Andrew M. Dodds asks county commissioners to rewrite the liquid fuel fund budget. He notes that right of way damage charges earmarked previously are now processed by the state for payment and cites Gov Scranton’s approval of a bill letting right of way dispute costs be paid from liquid fuel funds. Chairman George Bolinger questions the need for changes since funds were earmarked and Dodds says the amounts must be shown to charge payments to the proper budget account. Commissioners had appropriated 40000 for aid to municipalities and 60000 for bridge work.
