Samuel Smith hosted a weekend with Walter Barkley of New Wilmington. Meade McConnell, ill for over a week, improves slowly. Milared and Marian McCormick visit relatives in Harlansburg. Charles Cornmenit, Theodore Cary, Lester Dicks, Joe Snyder and Aubrey Walton return from a trip to Niagara Falls. Mark Drake visits T B Wareham and sister Agneé in Youngstown City hospital. George Floyd and daughter of New Wilmington visit Floyd’s parents on Harlensburg road. Misses May Carter Trene Cotton and Howard Carr named Rich Hill Sunday school delegates to the county convention on June 5. A gentleman farmer is defined as one who loses his own money, not the mortgagee.
