President R P Peebles of the Lawrence County Cooperative Wool Growers Association announced the 1950 wool pool is sold to James Doak Jr Co of Philadelphia, with bids opened last night. Prices listed are 65.07 cents per pound for medium wool and 67 cents for fine Delaine, among the highest in years due to fewer sheep and wool shortages. No cooling will occur during the week of June 19. Wool will be received in Butler on June 19 for Butler county members and on June 20 and 21 for Lawrence county growers.

Gunman Killed In Greenwich Village Nightclub Gun Battle
