An inquest was set for today into the deaths of seven children killed last night near Auburn when the automobile they rode in was struck by an interurban car of the Albiols traction system. Six victims were Brubaker family members from Virden near Auburn. the seventh was Wiley, a Brubaker playmate. Samuel Brubaker, 19, the oldest, was driving the car.
Brule Wisconsin June 6 Antoine Dennis a Brule river guide says President Coolidge used worms fishing for trout in the Black Hills last summer and may try it again in northern Wisconsin streams. He vows to teach the president to land big trout with a dry fly and stop worm fishing if he guides the trip.
Alleged murderer Eugene Anderson alias Dont You Know alias Chas Jackson, a black man, is being held in Cincinnati after being turned over to police for extradition to this district. He is accused of killing Dile Allen by slashing his throat during an April 1925 quarrel at New Castle Junction. Anderson, also called Poor Partner, disappeared after the crime and was located by Deputy Sheriff William Reynolds.
