Conviction grew in Spanish Loyalist circles and along the French frontier that General Emilio Mola, insurgent second in command, was killed by a time bomb in an airplane crash. Graduation Exercises for Union High School Class of 1937

The Union High School June class of 1937 held its graduation Friday night in the high school auditorium. Sixty seven diplomas were awarded. The program opened with the orchestra performing Mendelssohn and the Salutatorian Ruth Buchanan spoke on appreciation. Dr J J McIlvaine gave the commencement address.
