New Castle Class of '56 Set for Graduation Tonight
Five hundred forty six graduates of New Castle Senior High School will receive diplomas tonight at 8 at the Cathedral. Ralph A. Cooper will preside as the commencement speaker is Dr. R. C. Young on leave from the State College of Business Administration in Atlanta. Mrs. Jay L. Reed will provide pre program organ music, Rev. Stephen Polley will deliver the invocation, and Walter A. Kearney will introduce the speaker. Baccalaureate services were held Sunday with Rev. Polley delivering the sermon and Mrs. Reed playing organ selections.

RCMP hunted for Alberta legislator John Clark after seven people were found shot dead at his 1000 acre farm 110 miles southeast of Edmonton. Auto and buggy collision near Lewistown kills man

One Man Killed in Sunday Club Blast Near Canonsburg
An explosion at the Slovenian Fraternal Club in Strabane Washington County killed Jerry Yarkoski 23 and injured 20 more Sunday night. Two injured, Lyvester Chesnick 32 and George Arnold 27, were in critical condition at Canonsburg General Hospital. Investigators said a furnace gas leak caused the blast in the cellar as steam from a water heater sprayed through the two story brick building. About 30 people were present when windows shattered and panic ensued.

Thieves Steal Train In Detroit Chase
