Subside risk closes Route 108 near Stateline Road
A sinkhole about two feet deep has closed a 150 foot stretch of Route 108 near Stateline Road in North Beaver Township. The mine beneath the road extends about 180 feet deep, with subsidence possible to continue. PennDOT and the mining company will monitor and may repair next week, detouring traffic via Stateline to Columbiana and Mount Jackson roads.
