The United Health Foundation report ranks Pennsylvania 25th for senior health this year with gains in home care and hospice use. It notes strengths such as high community expenditures for seniors and a low share of low care nursing home residents, while highlighting obesity, inactivity, and nursing home bed quality as challenges.
Two local groups offer support for grandparents and relatives raising others’ children.
