Students donate bike to home resident in touching surprise
Lawrence County Vocational-Technical School students presented Julius Toth, a 64 year old resident of the Lawrence County Home for 10 years, with a new bicycle. The gift grew from a plan by Al DiMuccio and the golf course staff after Toth rode an old bike daily to the home and nearby shop. The surprise occurred at the Sylvan Heights Golf Course clubhouse where students gathered, leading to tears and grateful remarks from Toth and Sister Carmen.
