Bright student struggles with handwriting and pacing at school
A Louisiana mother describes her eight year old son Harry as a bright but underperforming pupil who finishes little written work and struggles with handwriting after changing schools. Teachers note high intelligence yet slow work rate, with concerns over arithmetic progress. Advice suggests home handwriting practice, patient guidance, and reading aloud to improve concentration. Doctors and local residents are cited for unrelated injuries at area workplaces and hospitals.
