East Brook High School held its commencement for 19 seniors with Dr. J W Creighton from Westminster College delivering the keynote. Valedictorian William Pherson spoke on opportunity and diplomas were presented by Clinton Kennaday with Ralph E Watson awarding honors to top students.

Sunrise 4-H Club of Neshannock Township met May 27 at Jimmy Lutz home with 13 members present. President Walter Kendall presided. Members reported on projects and pledged. Next meeting set for June 24 at the Latimer home. Games led by Jean Presnar followed by lunch.
