Incubator Nears Capacity as Three Firms Move In
An industrial incubator in Mahoningtown, started by Gloria M. Miller Associates of Greenville, is nearing capacity with three new firms set to move in within 60 days. The 118000 square foot facility, once Universal-Rundle Corp. property, now houses Ivex and a marketing firm led by Dick Miller and William Henderson, plus space for light manufacturing. Miller aims for 12 to 15 tenants and will market the space this fall with plans for advertising and seminars. Brave action saves three in 12 hour shark ordeal
A 19 foot great white attacked and sank a 20 foot boat off Hawaii. Weston Leslie age 40, his 12 year old son Newton and crewman Walter Gay swam nine miles to safety after the vessel was gnawed and capsized. Leslie shot the shark with a bang stick to escape. A pack of 6 to 7 foot sharks shadowed them for hours as they fought to reach shore near Naalehu.
