Sechan appeals pollution case in county court
Attorneys for Robert Sechan of Portersville filed an appeal of his conviction for polluting Slippery Rock Creek. Sechan Limestone Inc. operator was fined 500 dollars and 9 dollars costs after Justice John Lapinsky found he unlawfully discharged a harmful substance. The appeal, by Richard N. McKee and William C. Robinson, likely won’t be heard until November 10, the next hearing date for summary convictions.
