Stettinius to Join Interim UN Work in London

Former Secretary of State Edward R. Stettinius plans to leave for London in the next few weeks to help set up the United Nations security organization. Empire State Building Reopens After Jet Crash Disaster

Carrier Intrepid Returns To Help Final Pacific Kill

The USS Intrepid has rejoined the fleet after repairs following multiple battle damages.
