Luncheon Spoon Club Holds Indoor Garden Picnic
Mrs. Robert Brown of Oi City visited her brother and sister-in-law in town for a luncheon spoon club event at Miss Mae Hoyt's Winter avenue home. Twenty guests dined amid garden flowers as Mrs. E. W. Beadel won the afternoon’s bridge prize. Next Friday the club will visit Mrs. W. M. Brown.

In San Francisco she will board the S S Virginia for a Panama Canal voyage, visiting Havana and New York. Sunshine Club: Mrs Elizabeth Chambers hosted a noon dinner with Mary Hiler and Dorothy Mayberg assisting. Pearl Hunter won the afternoon prize. In two weeks the group meets at Pearl Hunter's home on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Bennett Bible Class Plans Many Upcoming Events
At a church meeting the Bennett Bible class of the First Christian church arranged a series of activities. They will join the Sunday school picnic on August 4 and visit the Christian children's home in Cleveland on September 9 with the Bethany Guild. Transportation is organized by several couples. An August gathering will be a coin and wiener roast August 10 at the Clifton Glenn cottage in Lakewood with listed hosts and social hour following.

Second Church Annual Picnic At Cascade Park
The Second U P church members with baskets gathered at Cascade park Friday for the annual picnic. Over 250 attended as M Alexander chaired arrangements and a picnic supper with Leland Smith leading coffee, Roy Long cakes, and Ethel Minnick ice cream. An events program included races started by Ike Miller and Roy Zeigler. The issue also notes club activities and a Rapp family reunion at Cascade Park on August 8 with noon and evening meals in the grove.
