Slacker With Two Guns Arrested In Shenango Township
George Westo, Hungarian immigrant, was arrested Friday evening on failed registration charges. Detective M J Young, Officer Fred Shuler, and State Policeman William Abel took him to county jail. A 32 calibre revolver and an 88 calibre gun were found in his possession and trunk at Arland Naugle farm. Westo claimed not yet 21, then 22 via naturalization papers, and said he did not know he had to register. He said he believed he could carry a gun after first papers. Authorities suspect he planned to evade registration. He was last located on a farm a mile from Naugle.
