Mural on Court Street marks county and state anniversaries
More than 20 volunteers painted a Court Street crosswalk mural linking the Lawrence County Government Center to Central Court. The project ties Pennsylvania 250th anniversary plans with Lawrence County’s 175th observance, funded by a PA 250 grant and led by Kim Keller-Jones, Paige Kleinfelder, and Ginny Jacob Corella, using a flag-inspired design by Ian Baker.

Charges held for court in Pauly Likens murder case
Mercer County prosecutors added homicide and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse charges to the case of Dashawn Dale Watkins 29 of Sharon. He is accused of killing 14 year old Pauly Likens in downtown Sharon on June 23 and dumping the disembodied remains. Judge Travis Martwinski ordered all charges held for court after a long preliminary hearing with multiple witnesses.

Corvi Returns to Lead New Visions as Director
