Highways Not Properly Kept In Mahoning Two

Fifty township residents petitioned Judge Emery to remove Mahoning township road supervisors Walter E. Graham Norman McClelland and Cheater Shingledecker for neglecting road maintenance. They cite unsafe washouts ruts and rotten bridge planks on Hullsvilla Pulaski road and a second route from Fred Montgomery’s residence to the township line. Dugan Sentenced Fast After Montreal Arrest

Michael M. Dugan former private secretary to James W. Corrigan was sentenced in Cleveland within 48 hours of his arrest in Montreal on forgery and embezzlement charges. He pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $10,000 from his former employer and received a sentence ranging from two to twenty years in the Ohio penitentiary.

Confesses to Murder Charge by Joseph Senata

Joseph Senata, held in Mahoning County jail at Youngstown, Ohio, has made a complete confession to Deputy Sheriff Fred Donovan admitting he killed Police Officer Walter Fuckinger of Lowellville on June 7. He had previously denied the slaying despite identification by witnesses. Senata appears to feign a serious effort to secure an easier outcome.
