Police say the body was found in a ravine near Harrison Hills country club as volunteers conducted an all night search. Boyce allegedly strangled and disposed of the body after assault, then concealed it with dirt.

In Bentox Illinois an intruder shot and killed Mrs. Wanley Gore as she slept with her husband Dr George W Gore in a glass enclosed porch. The surgeon awoke and ran to the floor as the killer fired five bullets. Police search continues for the assailant who did not enter the room.
In Huntingdon Pennsylvania three probes were opened into a bridge collapse near Alexandria eight miles west of Huntingdon that killed a family of three in a car crushed by a passing truck. Officials from the highways department state motor police and the coroner’s office will investigate causes and safety confirming the bridge’s6000 tonnage limit.
A bulletin from Jerusalem reports a message attesting that the kidnapped American missionary, Rev. Gerould Gouldmer, is alive and well.
