Posses Hunt for Train Bandits

Auto and horseback posses searched the Hewitt area for three masked bandits who robbed passengers of $323 on the San Francisco Coaster of the Southern Pacific near Chatsworth. The crew forced valuables at gunpoint and fled as the train neared Hewitt. Mrs. J A Driffill, wife of the Oxnard sugar company manager, had several hundred dollars taken from her handbag while her husband was spared.
