Two Die in Lackawanna Limited Wreck at Glenburn
Scranton July 23 state and county officials began an investigation into the derailment of the Lackawanna Limited at Glenburn. Two men died Charles Coolbaugh and Jacob Gleighman and about 20 were injured including Oscar Snyder and W Hart. Officials believe a bolt placed on the track by children or a malicious actor caused the wreck as the train, traveling about 50 miles an hour, derailed and struck a stalled freight at Glenburn station.
