Glen Moser a 40 year old Douglas Air employee from California flew an army monoplane east when an overheated engine forced an emergency landing at Capt Wilmer Stutz field near Altoona Penn He suffered possible right arm and shoulder fractures and was taken to Altoona hospital The plane dropped about 100 feet and was badly damaged Willard Walk of Tyrone helped pull Moser from the wrecked plane
