Couple files suit over drowning of Sherry Peak
Parents of 19 year old Sherry Ann Peak sue in Lawrence County Court for survival and wrongful death damages over her New Year’s Day 1991 drowning in the Mahoning River. They name Steven Petrovitch, Union, Mahoning and North Beaver townships, Lawrence County, two fire departments, state troopers, and the Commonwealth as defendants seeking jury trial and damages exceeding $10,000 per count.

Fire strikes Benedum roof as Carousel ends
