Man arraigned in killing of nurse Elizabeth Roberts
John Patrick Henretta, 46, last at City Rescue Mission, is charged with homicide and rape in the death of nurse Elizabeth Sue Roberts. He appeared in orange jumpsuit with restraints, held without bond in Lawrence County Jail. Preliminary hearing set for July 25 at 1:30 p.m. Records say he allegedly abducted, raped, and stabbed Roberts on Sept. 19, 1988, after menaced with a knife near a riverbank.
