John Medusecik a 50 year old Bessemer workman missing since July 15 was found hanging from a tree in the woods behind Bessemer. Ill health is suspected to have prompted the act and a 32 caliber revolver was found in his pocket. His daughter Mrs Jennie Richie of Monaca was notified.

Burglars Enter East Side Home In Street-Wide Theft
Last night burglars struck the East Side district visiting the home of Thomas James at 1019 East Washington. Entrance occurred between midnight and 1 am via a rear window, with about 23 dollars taken from Mrs. James and about 20 dollars from Mr. James's pocket. Police deem the same suspects as in prior North Side incidents. A separate entry at 305 North Jefferson, Mrs. Mary Strayer’s home, yielded no losses.

Carpenter Dies While At Work In Remodeling Site
At 9 30 this morning Thomas Howard Beighley a prominent local carpenter died suddenly during remodeling of the Blau block at South Mill street and Long avenue. Stolen Ford Car Bears Local License Plates
Police in Freedom, Pa., reported possession of a 1924 Ford with Pennsylvania plates 869-911 believed stolen. A driver fled after being stopped while the car, painted blue, contained four new tires and old tires plus tobacco and cigarettes. Plates were registered to Jim Mitriki of 112 Sankey Street, who said his plates were stolen around the fifteenth of the month.
