Dr. W Ches Wallace and three Westminster students Clair Vance John Lewis and Clyde Armstrong will travel to Plattsburg New York to undertake military training. They will assist the army officer in charge and help establish regular training at Westminster College this fall under U S army direction.

M Conahy Gives Life For Country
New Castle mourns Sergeant Nathaniel McConahy who died of wounds in action on June 25. He enlisted first after the local recruiting office opened in New Castle in 1916 and served as an expert rifleman before going overseas in March. Aged 18, he was the son of the late Laughy McConahy and Margaret Burns McConahy, with brother Kenneth M cConahy of Ellwood City the surviving relative. He formerly worked in The News composing room.
