Grace United Methodist Ministry forms after four churches merge
Four former United Methodist churches in Lockport New York became Grace United Methodist Ministry on July 1 2020 with first joint service July 12. Pastor Darry Lockie leads Sunday 9:30 a.m. service at Croton Avenue and 11 a.m. service at Decker Drive Neshannock Township with worship streamed online. The merger followed months of talks amid declining memberships and pandemic driven separation. Outdoor services aided unity as pandemic shifted worship online and in cars.
