Five Die As Train Strikes Auto Near Hackensack
Five people were killed when an Erie Railroad train hit an automobile near Passaic Junction, five miles west of Hackensack. The victims include Mrs. Julia Bronelski 48 and her son Andrew 21 who drove the car and three children Mary Yoronipski 10 Anna Sikorski 6 and Michael Sikorski 6. The car stalled near the crossing and was struck as the driver accelerated. Witness John Bronelski saw his wife killed on a nearby porch.
