Cruisers kept tops up as a ’Back To The 50s’ weekend began in New Wilmington with 120 of 150 to 200 cars finishing a rain slick cruise. Stanley Kosciuszko of the Greater New Castle Chamber of Commerce reported the event, cheered by secretary Doris Slinn as the caravan left Troggio’s Restaurant and returned to Eat’n Park. Rich Smith of Mr. Gasket hid the street rod to be given away that night under Haney’s Furniture overhang, with Judy Davidson and Harley from Avonmore assisting.
