In Pupunahue Valdivia Province a 27 year old iron miner Jose Roldan Concha admitted hacking to death a woman and five children. The victims were the wife and children of another miner Custodio Gomez Chaco at Los Coiphues iron mine camp. He had been paroled after one year of a five year sentence for killing a man in self defense. The killings occurred Monday night during Gomez Chaco's night shift.
