Ellwood Youth Dies After Trellis Fall On Way To Pool
Jack Jones Conner aged 14 of 406 Pershing Ellwood City died at Edlwood City hospital after a 50 foot fall from a trestle to Slippery Rock creek while en route to a swimming pool. He suffered severe fractures and internal injuries but remained conscious initially. Funeral arrangements are set for Tuesday at J. S. Porter Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Newell officiating. He was a grandson of notable local figures and survived by his parents and a sister Carolyn.
