The Pennsylvania division offices ordered full time operation of the Ashtabula shops with 150 workers and a 60 hour week. Lake Shore shops near full time, earnings reports show losses across Erie Lake Shore P&LE and Baltimore and Ohio lines for 1907 and 1908. An all day outing for shop employees is planned at Silver Lake Park Akron July 13 with a special train from New Castle.
