City Delays Water Main Change Promise This Week
The city has not yet agreed to alter the water main to six inches to serve the proposed sewage disposal plant. Council postponed the promised decision on New Castle Water’s request, sticking to a four inch main. Cornwell will review the route soon. Solicitor White argues denial could prove economical waste due to the company’s plan to maintain the line and install a meter.
