Cable companies agree to refunds across Pennsylvania
Twenty nine Pennsylvania cable television firms will refund about 20 000 subscribers for deposits paid as refunds of one cent to ten dollars per customer. The refunds apply to customers who stopped service between March 1 1992 and May 31 1992 and were owed small amounts under a prior threshold. The agreement ends automatic refund thresholds and requires clear notice. Adelphia's threshold drops to zero so even 1 cent refunds are paid automatically.
