Jamaica man steals Carlisle taxi then dies in crash
John Francis Dooley, 30, of Jamaica New York, hijacked a Carlisle taxicab driven by Paul Handshew, 39. Dooley forced the driver to Newville, then ordered him from the car and drove away. The stolen cab overturned near Route 641, Dooley died at Carlisle Hospital. Handshew escaped unharmed.
