The Rev Dr Will W Orr, 89, former Westminster College president from 1949 to 1967, died Wednesday in Presbyterian Hospital Charlotte NC. Born in Charlotte he guided campus expansion including the Will W Orr Auditorium completed 1967 and received emeritus status. College president Oscar Remick praised his leadership and faith, noting gifts to Westminster surpassed 1 million during his tenure. Orr arrived at Westminster April 27 1949.
