In Guthrie Oklahoma Walter Gimbell born 1891 or 1892 was wounded October 24 1918 serving with Company D 357th Infantry 89th Division in France. His records followed the unit to occupied Germany delaying his decorations until a new effort via Senator Henry Bellmon Oklahoma yielded the Purple Heart Combat Action Medal and campaign ribbons arriving by mail last week.

John Digby of Fayette County received a cash and annuity settlement that could total over 1.225 million with a guaranteed 865 thousand after a September 1973 one car crash near Lauperalle left him paralyzed from the neck down. The suit named Unity Auto Parts Inc of Unity Township, owner of the van involved. Digby had recently graduated from Pennsylvania State University.

Two Die in Robbery at O Har a Township Real Estate Office
Allegheny County police report a real estate office on Freewort Thand in O'Hara Township was the scene of a fatal robbery attempt. The office manager identified as Edward Qcis, 60, of Wilkinsburg died at St Francis Hospital after the attack. An unidentified teenage girl also died, while the attacker fled in a car. Police have not released the girl's identity.
