Slippery highway blamed for three car crash
Hazardous driving conditions were blamed for a three car mishap Saturday at 0:20 p.m. Louis Emery, 24, of 117 Park Ave, headed west on Montgomery Ave, tried to avoid an oncoming car, but was hit by Gary J. Hilton, 22, of West Bodgewater, Pa. The impact pushed Emery into a third car driven by Paul R. Sentgeorge, 17, of 318 Bryan St. ML Jackson. damage estimated at 800 dollars. A second mishap involved a parked car owned by Jack H. Fritz Jr. struck by a hit and run motorist. An alert neighbor gave police a description and license number. Police impounded the hit run car after visiting Stusen W. Duly Je., 667 Superior St. The owner was not at home. Another collision harmed Richard D. Wyon, 808 W. Washington St., his parked car damaged about 200 dollars. No witnesses in that case.

Urban league head slain in Seattle

Sweetheart shot in Pittsburgh wedding reception death
