Mother remembers missing daughter on anniversary
Linda Whitesell marks six years since her daughter Jessi Brumley Short vanished from Shenango Township in January 2013. The family keeps her memory alive through 8-year-old grandson Talon Sunday, who recalls her love of purple, butterflies, and Elvis. Short was a 25-year-old, 5 foot 2 inch brunette, who did not drive and reportedly had no phone or cards. Her case is in NCIC and the MAMUS DNA and fingerprint database.

District aims to help homeless students
New Castle Area School District faces a persistent homelessness issue with more than five dozen students affected.
