Winter storm hammers Pennsylvania with snow and crashes
The winter storm swept across Pennsylvania causing at least seven injuries in skid related accidents on icy roads. Four to five inches fell in two hours in northern Lawrence County as the statewide blizzard dumped over a foot in some areas. A second arctic front was forecast to arrive from the west. Local crashes involved Charlotte Lane and Scott Douglas on State Street, with Lane and passenger William Brothers treated and released. Another crash on Shadyside Street injured Joseph Camera, and Ruth McAnallen was hurt in a collision involving Violetta Anderson and Robert Cowher at Falls and North Mill streets.
