William E. Rodda, a noted union labor organizer, was held up on the Baltimore and Ohio line near Clarksburg West Virginia by two men at M and K Junction. The assailants took important coal union papers after forcing open the coach door and driving the porter off the train. Rodda continued to Parkersburg and did not disclose the motive. A posse searches the area.
