Berner International Lights Up Solar Array in Shenango Township
Berner International, a Shenango Township maker of air curtains, launched a solar array on its Progress Avenue campus in a Solar Switch On ceremony. The rooftop system, five years in the making, began producing power in November and reached full operation in January with EIS Solar handling installation and a USDA grant helping fund part of the project. NCASD Leaders Serve on Career and Technical Center Board
The New Castle Area School District appointed three board members Gary Schooley George Gabriel and Terry Masters to the joint operating committee of the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. The district pays tuition for its students enrolled in the vocational programs. The center offers non college vocational training alongside core subjects and serves about 140 students yearly. This year enrollment stands at 143 with 45 special education students.

Pa House panel advances three student mental health bills
