Four members of James Potter's family died after ingesting a liquid cough medicine believed tainted with poison. Potter and his wife Lulu along with two sons James Jr and Robert collapsed last night in a rooming house they operated. The Potters had moved from Steubenville last December and were leasing property in Cleveland.

Mrs. Martha W Keefer of Enon Valley dies. Mrs. Julia Laughlin Cleary aged 50 of Koppel Pennsylvania dies. Mrs. Mary Jane Kelly aged 76 of Shenandoah township noted.
Police extended the search for Frances St. John Smith a Smith College freshman after a truck driver reported giving a ride to two young women near Downingtown Pa. one resembled the wealthy New York student. The driver recalled mentions of Boston and said the pair planned to go to York Pa and Northampton Mass. A separate lead from Troy N Y identified Pauline Orsh a New York cloak model as a possible match to the missing girl.
President and Mrs. Coolidge returned to Washington from Havana where Mr. Coolidge opened the Pan American Congress. They arrived at 7 15 this morning, left the special train, and drove to the White House for breakfast after a six day absence.
