Prospect Street Man Dead by His Own Action

Harry W. Lewis aged 45 of Prospect Street shot and killed himself early Sunday in a mentally disturbed state due to illness. Sampson Street to be paved under Reeves ordinance

Injuries Fatal To Motorcycle Rider

Westchester Pa January 16 George Lilley 17 of Berwyn High school died at Homeopathic hospital from injuries after his motorcycle skidded off Sugartown road seven miles east of here. He was rushed in by a passing motorist and died a few minutes after admission from a fractured skull. Lilley was the son of Elmer Lilley of Paoli.

Gideons Dedicate 175 Bibles in Castlet Castle Rooms

More than 300 attendees joined in a ceremony at The Castlet on Sunday as 175 Gideon Bibles were placed in guest rooms. W H McDonnell presided with Gideons and local pastors present. Pittsburgh railroad worker burned in church home fire

William Dunlap 57, an employee of the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie railroad, severely burned while attempting to extinguish a fire in his daughter Mrs W J Klingensmith s home at 521 North Cedar. Fire from a gas stove explosion caused by a defective gas line led to extensive damage estimated at 500 for the house and 500 for contents. Dunlap was hospitalized at New Castle as authorities investigate the blaze and extent of injuries.
