Universal-Rundle Corp and Local 365 of the International Union of Glass Pottery Plastic and Allied Workers announced a one year extension of the contract in Cincinnati covering plants in New Castle Ottumwa Iowa and Union Point Georgia. The deal adds a 2.5 percent across the board increase effective Jan 10 plus 20 cent hourly bumps for 18 workers. The agreement runs to Oct 31 and introduces a group bonus plan while keeping benefits unchanged.
