Small Fire At Central Christian Church Causes Minor Damage
Firefighters were called twice Sunday afternoon to the Central Christian church at Pennsylvania and Long avenues to fight a chimney fire. The blaze caused slight loss and was traced to the main heating unit chimney in the original frame church building, found by Acting Fire Chief Charles Lynn to be in a very dangerous condition.
