Suspect waives preliminary hearing in infant death case
Wampum man Christopher Lee Kennedy, 39, is to be prosecuted in Lawrence County Court of Common Pleas on charges including criminal homicide and conspiracy for a newborn’s death. He waived the hearing in Central Court with his attorney announcing the decision. Police say the death occurred about a year before his arrest and investigations continue.
