Special to The News reports Will Rogers noting Democrats flocking to Frisco as the best gathering city. He mentions Cleveland and Chicago as alternatives but says Frisco has a certified check and would attract delegates from June to December.
Stanley Bober six, son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Bober of 34 High Street, was killed when the left rear wheel of a three ton H G Preston & Company truck backed over him. Driver O G West 22 of 1005 Lorain Avenue carried him to Joseph Gierlach’s store at 64 High Street before ambulance arrived. Coroner J P Caldwell and County Detective William Fleming investigated the instant death due to chest and neck injuries from the wheel crushing the lungs and jaw. Continued on Page Two.
