Valedictory and salutatory honors for the mid year graduating class at New Castle Central high school go to Donald McGoun son of Mr and Mrs D. B. Elliott of 115 East Wallace Avenue and to Miss Ednad Sheaffer daughter of Mr and Mrs E. R. Sheaffer of 721 Court Street Principal Frank L. Orth announced today McGoun has broken the long standing school record by taking both valedictory and salutatory honors marking a first for the boys while girls have achieved the feat in past years The notice appears in the mid year list continued on page seven.
