Coke Ovens to Be Fired at 1500 Plants in Region
Connelsville Pa January 5 Announcement from Frick Coke company subsidiary of United States Steel says 1500 additional ovens will be fired in coming days and regional plants will operate six days a week. Young Wife Bound to Wild Broncho in New Mexico
In San Rafael New Mexico on January 5 the body of Juan de la Chamzal’s wife was found miles from the ranch. A lariat noose was frayed from dragging and the broncho was the alleged instrument. Sheriff deputies traced the rope to the ranch and arrested Chamzal, accused of attacking his wife while he was away. Her alleged motive involved her going to town with a male relative.
